Attend a FREE Performance
Here is your invitation to attend a free performance of
“Messiah” by Handel, on
Sunday, November 18, 2012 at 3:00pm
at the
Holland Performing Arts Center
in downtown Omaha, NE.
More details at www.voicesofomaha.org – where people can also print out a handout or poster about performance, invite others, share on other social networks, or forward in an email.
If anyone is interested in receiving the invitation to the concert for next year, or to sing in the group next year, they can contact the group at the same website and we would be happy to add them to our email list. Mention “Kevin Abelein” in the email. The group generally performs about the second Sunday in November with six rehearsals on Sunday afternoons before that and all at the Holland Performing Arts Center.
This performance is offered as a FREE gift to the city of Omaha and surrounding areas and features the world’s largest chorus of it’s kind performing such an original edition of Messiah with their own orchestra and doing this as a free concert gift to the area.
No tickets required, just show up for the show, wearing what people feel comfortable in, children with adults are welcome to attend. There is free parking at meters on the street along with much paid parking around the area. The performance will be about two hours in length including a 15 minute intermission.
You may see a familiar face or two singing with Voices of Omaha – there is still room for more singers next year – that was an invitation. See our website for details and feel free to contact Kevin Abelein for more information.
